Linkshell History & Information:
Welcome to the Immortality linkshell! Our linkshell began under a different name in December of 2006 as a Dynamis cooperative between two social linkshells. After 3 months and many early successes, including all city wins & a Dynamis-Beaucedine win in our first attempts, half of the cooperative withdrew and the linkshell was restructured and reconstituted as Immortality!
From that time until now, the linkshell has evolved from a once a week Dynamis linkshell into a multi-purpose end-game linkshell with regularly scheduled Dynamis, Walk of Echoes, Einherjar, and Abyssea events. A number of other events are done on a random basis, including Sea NMs, KS99s, ZNMs, VNMs, and potentially anything else our members show an interest in.
We have never had any mandatory events and although attendance will be the strongest factor in item drop decisions, this linkshell is a great place for people who want flexibility to do their own thing while still being able to participate in events with skilled players in a more casual and drama-averse end-game environment. Many of us have our own social linkshells that we frequent outside of event times, but you'll almost always find some set of people hanging out in Immortality 24/7.
